Floor Compatible with Open Areas
In outdoor basketball courts, UV-resistant acrylic floors or EPDM rubber systems are used. These floors are highly resistant to sunlight, rain and temperature changes, while supporting ball bounce and player movement.

Modular Systems and Site Safety
FIBA approved fixed or portable backboard systems are applied together with the field. In addition, the field perimeter is made safe with nets, wire mesh or shock absorbing panels. These systems prevent the ball from going out of the field and increase spectator safety.

Night Use with LED Projector
Thanks to LED floodlight lighting poles, outdoor basketball courts can be actively used after sunset. It is especially suitable for intensive use in schools, municipal parks and sites in the evening hours.

1. What are the stages of outdoor basketball court construction?
In the construction of an outdoor basketball court; a properly sloped concrete/asphalt infrastructure is created. It is surrounded by wire mesh. Then, a floor covering suitable for the outdoors (acrylic, tartan, polyurethane, etc.) is applied. Finally, the hoop systems are installed and the field lines are completed.

Suitable floor types for outdoor areas:

3. What are the standard dimensions of an outdoor basketball court?

4. How are field lines drawn in open fields?
The lines are applied to the floor with UV-resistant acrylic paint, using molds or line machines. Periodic maintenance is required against fading over time.

Floor covering costs vary depending on the type of covering chosen, the size of the area and the climate conditions. Acrylic floors are one of the most affordable options. Polyurethane and tartan coatings are more expensive but have a longer lifespan.
